E-NOZZLES INTRODUCTION

Ultrasonic aeroponic e-nozzle system developed by Freya Cultivation Systems

We understand that upgrading your whole irrigation installation is a multi-stakeholder process that can take months. To simplify the process and prove ROI ahead of any investment decisions, we offer easy ways to test Freya's technology and Aeroponics:

  1. PILOT TEST: Get in touch with us to conduct a small-scale trial – we will analyze your installation (under NDA), propose retrofit options and provide you a Pilot-test kit designed to easily fit into your current system.
  2. GROW TEST: We will recreate your lighting and feeding protocols, and benchmark your crop performance under different interval and droplet diameter conditions.
  3. SHOP E-NOZZLE: Head over to our Shop, explore the e-Nozzles and get a few for hands-on testing and experience evaluation!

1. SETUP

Stop wasting time on plumbing and parts management. Freya’s aeroponic conversion is a simple four-step process that does not require high pressure pumps, solenoids, filters or reverse osmosis water. Simply insert the nozzles, connect the Electronic Management System, configure the irrigation plan and connect the drip line.

2. MAINTENANCE

Once deployed, regular operating upkeep of Freya aeroponic nozzles is not required. Nozzles are self-scanning and self-cleaning, which is done by a built-in artificial intelligence. Furthermore, because each nozzle is a connected device, you will be immediately informed in case of any operating issues.

3. POWER

At 30 L/hour (7.9 GPH), one nozzle requires merely 42 Watts. Your power requirements will depend on your crop intervals. For example, some of Baltic Freya’s growers grow lettuce at the interval of 1:11 (30 seconds of spray, 5.5 mins of wait time) have been able to irrigate 1m2 (10 sq. ft) of lettuce (30 heads) at 5.5Watts / hour, including the nozzle and pump.

4. FAIL-SAFE

Freya's nozzles can have pre-configured contingency protocols – for example, if the nozzle firmware senses a power grid failure, it will switch to EMERGENCY MODE running on backup power and will further reduce power usage by spacing out intervals suitable to your crops survival in prolonged darkness periods.
